Cheers to a Drink!!

Hola!! Everyone out there talks about the health risks of alcohol. Well, daily consumption is actually bad for health.But you know what, low to moderate consumption actually has few benefits. According to a  Harvard Study  , "moderate drinking" refers to "no more than one to two drinks per day for men and one drink for women".  Moderate consumption of alcohol helps reduce the chances of cardiac arrest, reduces memory loss as you start aging, keeps you free from chronic illness and helps in digestion if you have a glass of alcohol before a meal.. Potato Story!

Hey all! You all have a common belief that consuming potatoes leads to weight gain.Well! Let me tell you consuming 1 potato(whether mashed or baked) per day provides good source of potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C and a good amount of fiber. It prevents cancer, improve digestion and reduces cholesterol level. It has tuber storage protein"Patatin" that exhibit activity against free radicals. Again, over consuming of potatoes is not at all recommended..Also Potato chips and French fries are loaded with butter, oil, cheese and cream. Deep fry and high fat lead to weight gain and can lead to heart problems as well. So avoid eating Deep fried potatoes  and go and grab some potatoes from the market to bake or boil it at home!! Be a healthy foodie!!☺❤
