DIY technique-Crafting Ideas!

 Hi Peeps!

Long time it has been that I am writing something over here.. Was busy with some other ongoing activites.

Today I will pen down some DIY (DO IT YOURSELF)stuff that you all can try out if you have become bored like me doing nothing except work or studies, no going out, no visit to restaurants and pubs in the weekend!

I have started taking out some rejected items from my house and have been trying to convert them into useful ones.Although a novice but tried something out of nothing!!

• DIY Coasters:  Small triangular/rectangular wooden left outs are easily avaliable at our home that we generally throw away because of no use.

Take those wooden parts, colour them using acrylic paints or draw out some small motifs or paint on it and tada! coasters are ready. 

•  Hand painted pots: The pots that we buy from market for plants generally start looking a bit old with swamps on it giving pretty awful looks to our garden. Thus painting the pots gives the ornamental plants or the flowers a hue that is quite pleasing to our eyes as well as adds colour to our garden. So why not paint the pots and add a gleeful look to them!

• Wall hangings: A big sized board if you have of any material can be converted to wall hanging by simply colouring it the way you want.

•  Small space balcony wall hangings: Nowadays we all have increased our online shopping. Why waste the boxes that we receive everytime. Will share a small technique to use them decorating the wall space-

 The amazon boxes if cut out then you can get two rectangular pieces from each box. On these two pieces put 3-4 coverings with newspapers, colour them with a base colour and dry under the sun.

 Put another coating of bright colours on them, write up or paint and stick the two pieces together with strings. And yeah, dont forget to put it in the perfect place where it will suit the most. I have put my piece in balcony garden🌸🌵🌼

• Again with the boxes you can actually make some DIY gift boxes that can be used for gifting to friends, family and near and dear ones. Here are the easy steps to follow:

Wrap the box with marble paper of your choice, put the gifts inside it, write up few personalized messages on it, here I have used a  chart paper and used a toothpick to stick. If required you can easily cover it with a transparent paper and wrap it up with satin wrappings easily available on any online sites.

And I am done with my DIY stuff--have done till this during my weekends. If I come up with some new ideas will surely try to share with you all. Happy weekend and hope you all try these at home.. Its actually fun doing something creative with everything around us that seems useless but can be used in 1000 different ways.
