Gardening-An art of Delight

Being born and brought up in the suburbs of the city, from my early childhood I wake up to the birds chirping, Koel singing around and the lush green plants round the house.  Gardening has become my kinda hobby nowadays although still a novice and most of the part is always managed by our Gardening Queen-Ma.  I love pretty flowers and lovely Ornamental plants that can be easily managed by adding some amount of water and a bit of sunlight everyday.  As there is a little space in the front area of our house, the balcony of one of our bedroom has been a perfect place for some pretty ornamental plants and flowers  There also has been some new additions- Snake Plant, Peace Lily, Money Plant, Aglaonema which I feel will add to some more vibrant colours to the balcony. Hey people!! Its Autumn and Winter is knocking at the door. During winters, whenever I am at home, g aram parathas made by my Ma with " gur"  is a perfect dinner for me. Jaggery  aka "GUR" is a seasonal delight during the winters which is used to make different tasty, yummy and  mouth watering dishes in India. Hi guys!! After a long long time I am back on Blogger. Really had a very busy schedule for the past 2 months. As I have shifted to Chennai from Bangalore for my new job, my regular food habits have  also changed. In Chennai, I have seen people seasoning every meal with curry leaves. In these 2 years I have had lots of experiences and one such experience is that in the breakfast everyday you can have  as many eggs as you want☺. As a Bengali, I have been eating fish from my childhood- Rohu, Katla, Salmon, Herring Crab, Prawns to name a few. Actually, Bengalis are known for Rosogolla and fish. Whenever I think of cooking some meal, the first thing that comes to my mind is a lunch featuring fish as the main dish.
